Photographs of our refacing work

Balance Construction Cabinet Refacing Projects

These cabinet refacing projects offer a closer look at the fronts, finishes and hardware that change a kitchen’s appearance. Browse photographs of our work, including a kitchen shown before refacing and during installation. The separate door-detail illustration helps explain the look of new fronts and carefully fitted handles.

We’re based in Cape Coral and serve homeowners in Fort Myers, Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda. Use the images to identify details you like, then talk with us about what would suit your own cabinets.

Look Beyond the Door Color

Notice how the fronts line up, how the visible cabinet sides coordinate and where the handles sit. Those details work together. A new door style looks its best when the surrounding surfaces and hardware have been considered too.

It also helps to look at what stays in the room. Refacing retains suitable cabinet boxes, so the relationship between the cabinetry, counters and other existing finishes matters when choosing a new look.

Matched pair — one kitchen

A Kitchen During Its Transformation

The paired photographs show the same kitchen before work and with the new white shaker doors being fitted. The second image records refacing in progress; it isn’t a completed after photograph. The retained granite, backsplash, tile and appliances help show how the cabinet fronts change the overall appearance.

Refacing in progress

New white shaker doors going on. Drawers are not all installed, so this records the work in progress rather than a finished kitchen.

A second kitchen, in three stages

Three photographs of the same cabinets: the wood fronts we started with, the boxes part way through the work, and the white fronts with metal pulls fitted.

All five photographs above record the same kitchen at different points in one project, not separate jobs.

Two door styles in one kitchen

A second matched pair. Here the change is the door style and the hardware, with the white finish carried through.

The Details Make the Difference

New fronts, neat edges and aligned hardware give cabinetry a fresh appearance. Our door and hardware illustration highlights those details so you can consider the style alongside the practical parts of the project.

You don’t need a professionally photographed kitchen to start a conversation. A few phone pictures of the full cabinet run and any damaged areas help us understand what you have. Tell us which finishes or features in the gallery appeal to you.
