Cabinet Refacing in Cape Coral and Southwest Florida
Your kitchen can look different without starting over. Cabinet refacing keeps suitable existing cabinet boxes and replaces the doors, drawer fronts and visible finishes. We specialize in cabinet refacing in Cape Coral, with service for homeowners in Fort Myers, Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda.
We begin by checking what you have and listening to what you’d like to change. The condition of the boxes, your preferred door style and the way the kitchen works all matter to the recommendation.
Call (239) 989-1045 or request a free consultation to have us assess your existing cabinets.

What Changes With Cabinet Refacing
The cabinet arrangement stays in place. New fronts create the visible change, while matching surfaces and carefully fitted hardware bring the job together.

Stays in place
The cabinet boxes and your layout
Your existing counters, sink and appliances can remain where the selected work allows. We confirm those details when reviewing the kitchen.
Replaced
Four parts of the visible kitchen
Doors and drawer fronts. Choose the style, material and finish for the new cabinet faces.
Visible box surfaces. Face frames, exposed sides and toe-kicks identified in the quote receive a coordinating covering.
Hinges and handles. We plan the hardware with the new fronts, including soft-close options where specified.
Finishing pieces. Panels, fillers and trim are included according to the agreed design.
Is Your Kitchen a Good Candidate?
Refacing suits cabinets that are sound and a layout you want to keep. We look at the frames, shelves, door attachment points and signs of damage before deciding what can stay.
A localized repair, such as a damaged sink-cabinet floor, can be assessed separately. More extensive deterioration or a cabinet arrangement that needs changing can point toward new kitchen cabinets. Refacing improves the surfaces; it doesn’t correct every problem inside the existing boxes.

Selected upgrades
Storage and Finishing Options
A refacing proposal can also include new drawer boxes, rollout drawers, decorative panels, crown molding or light-rail molding. A pantry replacement is another item we can discuss when storage needs have changed.
Refacing is also a chance to improve how your cabinets work, not just how they look — one of the questions we are asked most. Two of the most popular upgrades: converting a base cabinet from doors to a bank of drawers, so pots, pans and deep items pull straight out instead of disappearing to the back, and adding pull-out shelves inside existing cabinets, which bring everything within easy reach without bending or digging. We can build either into the same project while we are already at your cabinets.
Tell us which cupboards are awkward to reach and what you struggle to put away. We’ll work through the useful additions alongside the appearance. These components are selected and priced for the individual project rather than included automatically.

From Consultation to Final Adjustments
Refacing installation usually takes about three days. That is approximate, and it doesn’t include the time to finalize selections and obtain materials.

Cabinet Refacing Questions
Five things homeowners ask before a refacing consultation.
How long does the installation take?
Refacing installation usually takes about three days. That is approximate, and it doesn’t include the time to finalize selections and obtain materials. We confirm the schedule for your kitchen once the scope is settled.
What affects the price?
The number and size of fronts, selected finish, hardware, exposed surfaces and any repairs or storage additions all affect the quote. We measure the kitchen before pricing the work.
How is refacing different from painting?
Painting keeps and coats the existing doors. Refacing installs new doors and drawer fronts, allowing the profile and style to change as well as the color.
Is refacing better than replacing the cabinets?
It depends on what needs changing. Keeping sound boxes avoids replacing useful cabinetry, but new cabinets offer more freedom when the arrangement or condition is the problem. We’ll explain which approach fits the kitchen we see.
How are extra repairs handled?
The proposal identifies the repairs and additions included in the price. Plumbing, electrical or drywall work that isn’t listed is separate and can carry an additional charge. Review those details with us before installation starts.
